Feast offers cooking classes for both the novice as well as the seasoned cook. Groups come together, cook together alongside our professional chefs and then eat together. We work to meld the best recipes and techniques with an easygoing approach. Our goal is to make your time in the kitchen both enjoyable and memorable. Our events are interactive, community building, and most importantly, fun!
How It Works
Feast Cooking School’s hands-on cooking classes are specifically designed to let everyone participate in creating sumptuous, innovative cuisine.
Our demonstration style classes are more relaxed. You sit back and enjoy an interactive experince while the chef cooks through an entire menu.
Our aim is to help you learn the right way to hold a knife, poach, caramelize, whip, grill, and sauté. You can expect to enjoy an evening of learning, cooking, eating and laughter.
Feast Cooking School operates in the Feast Gourmet Kitchen Shop. We are Fenton Michigan's only kitchen store-cooking school combination. We can accommodate up to 10 people for our demonstration style classes. For hands-on classes we limit the attendance to 8 people to ensure everyone has room to work.
Whether you want a totally hands-on class where you dive right in to the recipes or if you'd rather sit back and enjoy the show, Feast can make your night a success.
We aim to be creative and accessible in all of our class themes. Our innovative menus are designed to introduce guests to new techniques and seasonal, fresh foods. All menus are well planned to inspire our guests to return home with the recipes feel confident in cooking them again.
The majority of our classes last about three hours and begin with socializing and a brief overview of the menu. The cooking, which is very interactive and fun, lasts about two to two and a half hours. After that, the guests’ enjoy a sampling of the dishes that were just freshly created.
